High Dive has been an institution in the Fremont neighborhood for Seattle’s up-and-coming music talent since 2005. Our goal is to bring all genres to our stages and all sorts of people together in our space. We bring national and local musicians spanning every genre to our stage, including Global music, Folk, Rock, Metal, Bluegrass, Reggae, Americana, Funk, Jam, Hip-hop, Latin, Electronic, Dance parties and more.  Come be a part of Seattle’s music tradition.

SECURITY (Nectar + High Dive)

The key role in this position is to provide a safe environment for guests and staff alike as well as enforcing applicable liquor laws and policies on-premise. Hours and schedule will be dependent upon business needs. Duties include welcoming guests to our establishment, checking ID’s, alcohol awareness, securing points of access, observation and intervention through de-escalation tactics, ensuring employee safety and walking staff to cars at shift’s end, and refusing entry to intoxicated guests. We are seeking an Associate Talent Buyer to join Team Nectar + High Dive!

TIME COMMITMENT: Full-Time salary position available; 80-100% FTE. Typical hours are split between office shifts with some flexibility to work from home but also some accountability to answer questions as needed outside of office hours.



This is a rare opportunity to enter the exciting world of concert booking at two well-established independent music venues! We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Talent Buyer who will work directly with Senior Talent Buyers to program concerts and events at Nectar + High Dive.

The Associate Talent Buyer will learn about live venue operations including event booking, marketing and production and will work with artist teams to ensure these things come together to produce successful events. They will work with Senior Talent Buyers to curate concert lineups, submit offers, manage event details, build ticket listings. They will coordinate with artists and Marketing Director for announcement and promotions of events, then with Production Managers to ensure communication of all day-of show details. Some customer service and communication with fans is required.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a broad understanding of Seattle’s live music scene and knowledge of local artists across various genres. Someone who has existing relationships working with local artists or experience booking bands or working in artist management or label/radio/media etc is a huge plus. Must have fantastic attention to detail, strong organization skills and the ability to meet goals and deadlines with little supervision. Must be able to respond to emails promptly and in a clear, professional and friendly way.
